Santa was born in Harlem

Santa was born in Harlem, at 160 W 120th St.

It was there that I first realized this dream of Santa was not going to fade away like many of my other dreams. This dream was no longer limited by space or time.

It became a spoken creation—something alive.
Santa became an advocate, seeking justice not for herself, but for others.

And that was the beginning of Santa’s conversation with me.
