Aaron Kumar, MD, MBA
Aaron has lived in NYC for most of his life. "This is home". He is proud to call himself a mended vessel used to serve all of God's children. Aaron has a background in medicine, business, and healthcare administration. He currently works in New York's hospital systems. He is passionate about caring for people, and providing them with the love, services and support they need and are deserving of. Aaron grew up in a family and community that taught him strong values in his Christian faith, servanthood, compassion, and support for one another.

Sandra is a pediatric physical therapist in NYC and loves working with kids of all different abilities and backgrounds. She has lived all around the United States, and in NYC for the last 15 years. She has been a part of many ministries throughout the city with a focus and passion for homeless outreach, teaching her what it means to serve as Jesus served, selflessly and in the forgotten and difficult margins. Sandra comes from a big, fun Polish immigrant family and is married to Aaron Kumar, who brings the delightful Indian spice into her life :) They are thrilled that God has them on this journey to serve Him and those who need Him and His love, together.

Christine Matta is a seasoned marketer with a heart for mission-driven work and community impact. She feels called to serve as the hands and feet of Jesus, using her skills to uplift others and respond to real needs. Shaped by nonprofit work in Scotland, Argentina and five years living in China with an NGO, she brings a global, faith-centered perspective to her work. She also has a deep passion for helping children see their potential and find mentorship that empowers their growth.

For the past nine years, Shahin has worked closely with a wide range of communities across New York City. Her earlier experience engaging with diverse groups in India further strengthened her commitment to equity, inclusion, and collective empowerment. She approaches community work with a core philosophy: people are not defined by need, but by potential. Shahin focuses on uncovering that potential and creating opportunities for individuals and families to contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Shahin believes that understanding one another goes far beyond shared language. She recognizes that connection can be built through many senses, abilities, and forms of expression, and that meaningful relationships often grow from openness, curiosity, and presence. She encourages every individual to share who they are, believing that when people allow others to truly know them, communities become stronger, more compassionate, and more resilient.
Storytelling is central to her work. Shahin believes every person carries a story that holds value, wisdom, and cultural richness. She is passionate about elevating those stories, honoring the lessons within them, and using them to build stronger, more connected communities. Her ability to bring cultural understanding into her work allows her to create welcoming spaces where people feel seen, respected, and celebrated.
As a mother of two, Shahin brings a deep understanding of the challenges families face and the support systems they need to thrive. Her parenting experience has strengthened her empathy and sharpened her insight into the realities of raising children within diverse communities. This perspective enriches her work and fuels her dedication to ensuring families have the resources, respect, and opportunities they deserve.
Rooted in education, shaped by multicultural experiences, and driven by a passion for community empowerment, Shahin continues to devote her work to building inclusive environments where every individual’s voice and value can shine.
